Dang Bireley's and Young Gangsters

Synopsis Dang Bireley's and Young Gangsters

In the 1950s, when Bangkok was still known as Phra Nakhon, Western counterculture began to ignite the passions of Thai youth. Dang, the leader of a notorious gang, grew up in the shadow of the 'Bireley Alley' brothels near Hua Lamphong. Driven by the sting of being a prostitute’s son, he built a reputation for violence to mask his insecurities. Alongside his loyal brothers—Pu, Dam, Laem, and Piak—Dang rose to infamy after gunning down a local thug, 'Hia Ma,' during a New Year’s celebration. However, internal friction ignites when Pu clashes with Piak’s crew, leading to Piak’s imprisonment and expulsion from school. This sparks a bitter blood feud between Pu’s 'Molotov Gang' and Dang’s 'Bireley Gang,' spiraling into a cycle of brutal violence that would define an era.
